What Is Masonry?

Masonry is the world’s wide fraternal organization. It is based on the belief that each man has a responsibility to help make the world a better place.

Who was Prince Hall?

Prince Hall was a leader in Boston’s free black community. He was one of the United States’ most vocal early abolitionist voices and a founder of Prince Hall Freemasonry. Hall advocated for black education and equality, running a school and making a wide array of arguments in service of bringing the fundamental promises of all Americans.

Our organization with official roots was established in England in 1717 but representing ideas and Truths much older. Masons can be found in any career field, ethnic group and religious background.

Charity is at the heart of most Prince Hall Masonic activities. The commitment to philanthropy, volunteerism, and community service by the Masons. We are locally present and active in our communities, and globally aware in humanities positive endeavors.

Worldwide

As a member of the Prince Hall family, you will be initiated into a worldwide organization that will and have endured for centuries but does not interfere with your religious or pollical values. We are also deeper than any one person but remain steep in traditional values, history, and undying wisdom.
